I am pleased that College of Technology to start, and I still can not decide which laptop is better for me. I heard that Mac is not suitable for engineers, and I vaguely aimed Dell Latitude, but I have no idea. Any suggestions?

I plan to go to college and focus in the chemical industry. So, of course, comes the task of buying a laptop. I really like the Mac, and I SCT, has closed its various programs, because my brother has one. But I scanned a bit about prices. But I really just asking what kind of information should be a laptop, and if you want vs. PC Mac (chemical process).
